We don’t often use the word naked on our site. With that very introduction, you probably suspect we’re launching into a piece about the Dark MOFO nude swim. But no! It’s something way more exciting than a winter skinny dip in a freezing Derwent River. It’s about decadent, chocolate brownies, and they could be yours!

Modo Mio Naked Brownies… prize giveaway for Think Tasmania readers

Brownies: Modo Mio Naked… Mine!

That’s right… it’s Monday and we’re pleased to introduce the latest prize in our giveaway series. This week, Think Tasmania email subscribers have the chance to win four boxes of award-winning Modo Mio Naked Brownies. They are free of additives, preservatives and anything nasty! This affordable luxury is made with local ingredients such as Anvers couverture chocolate, Kindred Organics spelt flour, Ashgrove & Duck River butters, and free-range eggs from Railton. It’s a full-on chocolate sensation from passionate foodie Susanne Dobrowski, who won the best stall promoting north west produce at the Taste of the North West 2013.

Award winning north west produce from Susanne of Modo Mio Naked Brownies

At the conclusion of the random draw, the lucky prize winner will collect four (yes, FOUR) boxes of Modo Mio Naked Brownies valued at $55-00. There will be an assortment from the scrumptious flavours made by Susanne, namely…

  • Salted Caramel Fudge
  • Fresh Orange
  • Quadruple Chocolate
  • Raspberry

The brownies are not suitable for mailing, so this prize will need to be collected from East Devonport. There’s an excuse for a fun day-trip, or maybe a friend could be entrusted with collecting your goodies for you? I can imagine hands being raised all over town! Susanne has offered to deliver locally for free if the winner is not mobile, just because she can. Isn’t that lovely?

Luxury in chocolate… Modo Mio Naked Brownies from Tasmania

Regular readers would also know that Susanne is the name and culinary talent behind Sizzle at the Penguin Markets on Sundays, too. There’s another optional point for collection. Judging from the promotion Think Tasmania launched via Facebook for this giveaway, the brownies are bound to be very popular. So don’t feel you need to wait for the prize draw. Definitely contact Susanne to order your very own supply of chocolatey goodness in advance… she’d love to hear from you.

Modo Mio Naked Brownies are made at 105 Tarleton Street, East Devonport.
For orders or information, phone 0405 625 032 or contact Susanne by email.
You can also visit the website of  Tasmanian Gourmet Hampers, or keep in
touch with Modo Mio Naked Brownies via Susanne’s Facebook page.

As we’ve said before, the competition rules on Facebook are all too hard, so we’re going to keep this in-house. We’re also going to keep it REALLY simple. If you are subscribed to receive the free newsletter from Think Tasmania, you are eligible to enter. Apparently a random draw is still allowed in Tasmania without applying for a permit, so here’s what you need to do…

Step 1 – be a subscriber to the FREE newsletter from Think Tasmania*

Step 2 – leave a reply at the bottom of this article.

And that’s it! This will be a random draw, so comments won’t influence the outcome. But if you’d like to leave any feedback for Susanne about Modo Mio Naked Brownies, that would be really great. You could discuss your personal desire to win this prize, or even Think Tasmania… we’d love to hear it all, and we’ll be closely following all the comments. We won’t reply individually because that would upset the giveaway app (it might award us the prize!!).

Modo Mio Naked Brownies ~ Common Sense Please?

  • Leave a comment on this post by 24th June 2013. We’ll
choose a random winner using our website’s giveaway app.
  • The four boxes from Susanne of Modo Mio Naked Brownies
with a retail value of $55.00 are the one and only prize.
  • Fair and reasonable terms and conditions automatically apply.
So one entry each (our app is able to detect multiple entries).
  • Please apply common sense to all aspects of this brownies
giveaway… we’d hate to disqualify someone for being silly.
  • We won’t use your email address for anything sinister, because
we firmly believe in doing the right thing. Always. Don’t you?
  • We’ll announce the winner’s name here, on Facebook and Twitter.
We’ll also contact the winner by email, and advise Susanne (the
owner of Tasmanian Gourmet Hampers) of the giveaway results.

What else do we need to stipulate? Nothing? Okay… then it’s over to you. Comment away! We wish you all the very best of luck. And if you’d be kind enough to share this Modo Mio Naked Brownies giveaway opportunity with all your peeps, we’d be extremely happy. Besides showing a little friendly community spirit by spreading the joy, sharing will also no doubt lead to similar giveaway opportunities in the future. And THAT can only be a good thing for everyone!!

*We ask that you subscribe to Think Tasmania for these giveaway opportunities
for several reasons. Of course we’d prefer any prizes go to dedicated followers;
and we need to make sure we can contact the winners. What makes it to the
Newsfeed of Facebook is a bit random, and not everyone even uses social media.
Most people can receive an email however, so that’s our sure-fire way of
reaching everyone. And finally, we like to share all the great things on offer
in Tasmania with as many interested readers as possible – that’s our mission!
