Here is a photo Carol took at Cowrie Point titled “The Gathering Storm”. Carol enjoyed photographing the Tasmanian coastline in various weather conditions ~ Greg Hale
Where is Cowrie Point?
Cowrie Point encompasses Little Peggs Beach State Reserve in the Circular Head region between Rocky Cape National Park and Stanley in north west Tasmania. Apart from knowing where to find this Tasmanian beach, we know little else. If readers have any stories to share about Cowrie Point, please feel free to leave a reply in the comment section below.
We promised this photo showing a storm brewing at Cowrie Point when we shared Greg’s previous photo of the month: Top End of Lake Mackintosh. Apologies again for the delay… we know Carol’s fans are always keen to see the next instalment. Until next time, cheers!
Greg Hale is curating this series for Think Tasmania, featuring a monthly photo taken by Carol Haberle. Greg was a colleague, photography mentor and friend of Carol’s and we’re delighted to continue sharing her great work with her fans.
