Would you check out this lovely ribbon swirl marble? Not only is it gorgeous… it’s also the prize in our latest giveaway, and will be won by one lucky reader.  Why, I hear you ask?  Because Think Tasmania published an article about the World of Marbles recently, and generated a little publicity for their business. This is their way of saying thanks for all the lovely feedback. But Jan and Jo are not only generous, they’re also very clever artists. So they’d like everyone to know about their work.

Win this purple ribbon swirl marble worth $45 from the World of Marbles in Sheffield

Marble… or Stunning Ribbon Swirl Contemporary Art?

The World of Marbles article was part of a series we published recently about Sheffield. In fact, we still have more stories yet to share from that visit. We were based at Eagles Nest Retreat and met quite a few business owners in the region. And now they’ve joined forces to prove just how awesome their region really is.

You may have noticed another article we published earlier this week, giving you the chance to win a night’s accommodation at luxury property Eagles Nest II? Yes… of course you did!! And as if these two current opportunities weren’t enough, stay tuned because we’ll have yet another Sheffield-based giveaway to bring you later in the week. It must be Christmas!!

Christmas Eve… Imagine the Excitement for the Winner!

As we’ve said before, the competition rules on Facebook are all too mind-boggling, so we’re going to keep this in-house.  We’re also going to keep it REALLY simple.  If you are subscribed to receive the free newsletter from Think Tasmania, you are eligible to enter.  Apparently a random draw is still allowed in Tasmania without applying for a permit, so here’s what you need to do…

Step 1 – be a subscriber to the FREE newsletter from Think Tasmania*

Step 2 – leave a reply at the bottom of this article.

And that’s it!  Of course if you’d like to follow the World of Marbles on Facebook and keep the gallery in mind for future purchases, that would be a good idea too.  Jan and Jo are giving you the chance to win something beautiful, after all. And here’s a little insider tip… they have just renovated their shop in Sheffield and have ordered the most amazing marble run you could ever imagine. AND they sell jewellery, too!

This will be a random draw, so comments won’t influence the outcome. But if you’d like to leave any feedback about the World of Marbles, or Sheffield, or your personal desire to win this prize, or even Think Tasmania… we’d love to hear it. We’ll all be closely following the progress of the giveaway.

And of course, Christmas is all about sharing and caring, so please get into the spirit of the season and spread the word about this marble giveaway. Imagine if one of your friends were to win through your actions… they might even gift it to you!

online shopping) or phone (03) 6491 2772. You can also follow
the World of Marbles on Facebook or visit the artists in
person at 34 Main Street, Sheffield in north west Tasmania.
