Here is the photo for September by Carol Haberle: Sunset Pelicans.
Pelicans: West Inlet, Stanley
by Greg Hale
Carol loved taking sunsets as many people do, but Carol always took special care to ensure she got the best sunset possible. As we all know the magic of a sunset can change very quickly, so Carol would set up her camera and tripod and take images at regular intervals and on many occasions would take a least a dozen photos as the sunset changed, so as to make sure of capturing the best sunset possible.
However on this occasion Carol was in the right place at the right time and only needed one shot to capture this beautiful sunset as the pelicans glided into view.
The image was taken 25 April 2011 at 6:30pm at Western Inlet, Stanley and depicts several pelicans beautifully silhouetted.
Hope Think Tasmania readers enjoy Carol’s photo of pelicans too.
