What a day we’ve had. Four fabulous Think Tasmania prize giveaways closed December 24, and we’ve had the delightful time of contacting all the winners today. For everyone waiting for the news, here are the official results.
Prize #1 ~ New Year in Launceston
We received 30 entries to win the family pass to New Year on Royal, and the random winner was Jill. She left her comment on December 4, saying…
Thanks Tania for the comps. Always love a trip to Launceston, a half way meeting place with my good friend from Ulverstone!!!!
Isn’t that great news for Jill? Now she’ll be able to celebrate the New Year in Launceston at Royal Park with her friend from the north west coast, with complimentary tickets for two adults and three juniors.
Prize #2 ~ Ribbon Swirl Marble
The beautiful ribbon swirl marble proved to be a very popular item, with 50 readers expressing a desire to take home the prize. Many of the comments claimed the World of Marbles shopping experience was good enough reason to visit Sheffield. The winner of the marble was Gilli, who declared on November 28…
I could raffle this amazing prize and help with my fundraising:)
We wish Gilli all the best with her raffle.
Prize #3 ~ Selection of Tasmanian Fudge
Two packs of Tasmanian Fudge had everyone leaping into action, resulting in 113 entries for the Fudge n Good Coffee prize. We’re pleased to announce that Pat will be enjoying the goodies, after leaving a comment on December 24 to say…
it looks so yummy would love to have some of this
Simple (and very last minute) but proving to be effective this time! And again, from the comments we received, many people will be making tracks to Sheffield to sample the delights!
Prize #4 ~ Eagles Nest Retreat
We received an amazing amount of entries (177 all up) for the night’s luxury accommodation at Eagles Nest II. But given the quality of the prize on offer, the interest was not at all surprising. The feedback from all the entries was great to read. One comment, coincidentally left on December 24 again, claimed…
It looks an absolute winner!
That entry was recorded by Clare, who was drawn as the random prize winner. One day in the next twelve months, Clare will be able to enjoy the experience of a lifetime at the Eagles Nest Retreat accommodation property in Sheffield.
What’s Next for Think Tasmania Giveaways?
Now the cupboard is bare! The prize winners have all been contacted by email, and will be collecting their booty from the business owners. But don’t despair! We’re already working towards more giveaway opportunities for our dedicated readers, to say thanks for subscribing and for keeping in touch with Think Tasmania.
Nicki from 4 Little Piggies in Devonport has already made a firm pledge to provide a dozen of her delicious cupcakes. That cupcake giveaway will be coming up soon. We also have several other commitments from businesses that we’ve previously featured on the website. They’ll remain our little secret just for now; but rest assured there will be some amazing things to win. We’ll also be running a series of competitions just for fun, with a link from our Facebook page to the website, so everyone can play.
If you’re a business owner in Tasmania who has either been featured
