Here is a photo of Squeaking Point taken by Carol Haberle (11 November 2011). I don’t know much about Squeaking Point, but I’m sure you’ll have some information ~ Greg Hale
Port Sorell: Squeaking Point
Greg has way too much faith in my knowledge! Until now, I didn’t know a thing about Squeaking Point.
Thanks to Greg’s submission of this photo by Carol Haberle, I now know Squeaking Point is close to Port Sorell. The region is east of Devonport and Latrobe in northern Tasmania, an unquestionably beautiful part of the state. We haven’t been up that way for a while, but I’m feeling a bit inspired to visit again soon.
So… what do you know? If you can add any information to our introduction of Squeaking Point, you can do so by leaving a comment in the reply section below.
Please send any requests about purchasing Carol’s photos to Think Tasmania via email, and we’ll forward to the Haberle family.
Greg Hale is curating this series for Think Tasmania, featuring a monthly photo (or photos) taken by Carol Haberle. Greg was a colleague, photography mentor and friend of Carol’s and we’re delighted to continue sharing her great work with her fans.
