Where has that Michelle Kneipp Pegler gone? She was regularly writing articles and sharing her photos with Think Tasmania; most notably from her beloved local region of Gunns Plains. And lately… nothing! All her fans are wondering what’s happened to her. Actually, she hasn’t gone anywhere and she’s perfectly fine. She’s still in Gunns Plains, but now her time has a new focus: Uncover Tasmania Guided Tours.

Uncover Tasmania with a Passionate Tour Guide

Visit Uncover Tasmania on Facebook and you’ll learn all about the new venture… “an unforgettable Tasmanian experience owned and operated by Michelle who is passionate about all things Tasmanian”. We still have so much in common!

Michelle lives in north west Tasmania with husband John and together they own Leven River Farm. They share stories about raising rare-breed pigs, cattle and geese on their own blog. They sell home-grown honey and bake up a storm using local Tasmanian produce. And I’ve just been told they’ve ordered a motorbike and plan to ride around the Tasmanian roads for fun. Talk about busy!

Uncover Tasmania: A Luxury Experience

The Uncover Tasmania tour vehicle (otherwise known as Delilah!) is a luxury, seven-seat, four-wheel drive. Think Tasmania will be joining Michelle on a Tasmanian tour in the future, and we’re very much looking forward to the opportunity.

Delilah! The luxury, seven-seat, four wheel drive experience of Uncover Tasmania

Michelle conducted her first-ever tour over Easter, a three-day trip via Hobart and Strahan, and she’s received some terrific feedback from her guests. The party of four from interstate enjoyed having time to study every place closely; bought lots of Tasmanian goodies and have since recommended the exceptional level of service to their friends and colleagues too. Sounds like Michelle’s new business will be an unmitigated success.
