If you’re a dedicated Think Tasmania reader, you’d know we’ve mention Tin Dragon Trail Cottages before. Many times in fact. It’s one of our favourite properties, and owners Graham and Christine are wonderful supporters of our work. They’ve hosted our writers so we can discover and share the delights of north east Tasmania. And this time last year, they offered a romantic getaway package as a giveaway prize. Now, following the amazing popularity of that promotional campaign, they’re about to do the very same thing again.
Romantic getaway: Tin Dragon Trail Cottages

As we’ve said before, the competition rules on Facebook are all too hard, so we’re going to keep this in-house. We’re also going to keep it REALLY simple. If you are subscribed to receive the free newsletter from Think Tasmania, you are eligible to enter. Apparently a random draw is still allowed in Tasmania without applying for a permit, so here’s what you need to do…
Step 1 – be a subscriber to the FREE newsletter from Think Tasmania*
Step 2 – leave a reply at the bottom of this article.
And that’s it! This will be a random draw, so comments won’t influence the outcome. But if you’d like to leave any feedback for Graham and Christine about Tin Dragon Trail Cottages, that would be really great. You could discuss your personal desire to win this prize, or even Think Tasmania… we’d love to hear it all, and we’ll be closely following all the comments. We won’t reply individually because that would upset the giveaway app (it might award us the prize!).

And if you’d be kind enough to share this Tin Dragon Trail Cottages giveaway opportunity with all your peeps, we’d be extremely happy. Besides showing a little friendly community spirit by spreading the joy, sharing will also no doubt lead to similar giveaway opportunities in the future. And THAT can only be a good thing for everyone!
*We ask that you subscribe to Think Tasmania for these giveaway opportunities for several reasons. Of course we’d prefer any prizes go to dedicated followers; and we need to make sure we can contact the winners. What makes it to the Newsfeed of Facebook is a bit random, and not everyone even uses social media. Most people can receive an email however, so that’s our sure-fire way of reaching everyone. And finally, we like to share all the great things on offer in Tasmania with as many interested readers as possible – that’s our mission!

This would be a prize worth winning at an ideal location to relax at and share the wonders of Tasmania’s Garden of Eden.
Hello there….I come from the other corner of our wonderful Island..at Marrawah, on the top of the West coast…from my window I can see Cape Grim, Mt Cameron and the massive expanse of ocean, the nearest land mass to the west is Argentina, a very long way…….there are a lot of differences in our worlds, our history, a bit of a late starter in the far NW and influenced by VDL rather than the mainstream colonial times….. Our climate, we are bom-barded by the Great Southern Ocean systems, a very different weather system to your mild east coast in comparison……I could talk on about the topic but I won’t, but, a weekend at your place would be lovely……
Cheers

We would love you to share your platypus photos with us. Somehow, I never seem to have my camera when I see a platypus, or the platypus doesn’t show when I do (have my camera), or s/he is swimming on the other side of the river (when I have my camera), or lot’s of other excuses for not being able to get a good photo!

I stayed at Tin Dragon Trail Cottages a few years back with my family. This is an amazing place for families, and the hosts could not be more friendly or helpful. Nevertheless, I couldn’t help thinking what a great place this would be WITHOUT the kids too. As far as romantic getaways go, this would be top of my list. Bubble bath under the stars then a nice snuggle in the warm cozy stone cottage. Ah. Sheer bliss.
