Look See at MACq 01 Hotel

We went to MACq 01 Hotel for coffee and snacks in the lobby. We were welcomed in a very friendly manner, then ushered to seats with fantastic views of Hobart, including the waterways of Franklin Wharf, Constitution Dock and Elizabeth Street Pier.

Eat, Drink and Enjoy Hobart

We enjoyed our usual coffee and hot chocolate for two. We stayed long enough to warrant a peruse of the menu, and a serve of fries with garlic aioli arrived.

Conversation by the Fire

The MACq 01 Hotel lobby boasts an ornate seating arrangement around a gas-log fire, as well as individual settings with low-slung tables. There’s also many display cabinets to browse and you can sneak a peek of the restaurant menu.

Hobart: happy hour by the gas fire

Plenty of bar and deck seating has been installed at various points along the MACq 01 Hotel waterfront. More is to happen yet, with the construction phase still underway. Exciting!

We’ll be visiting for dinner soon, so we’ll keep you in the loop.
