Last week we spoke about Christmas presents. We offered awesome prizes from Eagles Nest Retreat; World of Marbles and Fudge n Good Coffee in Sheffield. And now, we’re heading over to celebrate the New Year in Launceston and we have yet another present to give away to one lucky Think Tasmania reader.
New Year in Launceston: Ticket to Celebrate
You might remember last year we published an article by guest author Louise Clark. She wrote about a community event staged at Royal Park, where people could celebrate the New Year in Launceston. Then our colleague and tourism photographer Dan Fellow went along on the night to capture all the fun and festivities of New Year on Royal. Well this year, we’d like our readers to enjoy what’s on offer; and we’re giving you a chance to win tickets here.
The Festivale Committee (organisers of this New Year in Launceston party) have given us a family pass to give away. The prize is valued at $38 and will allow entry for two adults and three children up to age of 17. Of course, taking children with you is entirely optional, but the offer is there if you want it.
You can download a program for New Year on Royal detailing all the entertainment as well as the food and wine on offer. The schedule will kick off at 5:30pm on Monday 31st December at Royal Park Launceston. Headline act The Wolfe Brothers will hit the stage at 10:15pm and play through until midnight.
New Year in Launceston: Win a Family Pass
As we’ve said before, the competition rules on Facebook are all too mind-boggling, so we’re going to keep this in-house. We’re also going to keep it REALLY, REALLY simple. In fact, you don’t even have to subscribe to receive the free newsletter from Think Tasmania to be eligible to enter. Of course, if you’re not subscribed, you run the risk of missing giveaways and fabulous stories about Tasmania… but it’s totally up to you!
Apparently a random draw is still allowed in Tasmania without applying for a permit, so here’s what you need to do…
Step 1 – leave a reply at the bottom of this article
And that’s it! Of course if you’d like to follow New Year on Royal on Facebook and share this opportunity with your friends, that would be a good idea too. Caring and sharing over the festive season (or any time!) is always a nice thing to do, and we’d really appreciate the gesture. Community events like this one staged by the Festivale team can’t continue without support; and that’s why we get behind them.
This will be a random draw, so comments won’t influence the outcome. But if you’d like to leave any feedback about New Year on Royal, or Launceston, or your personal desire to win this prize, or even Think Tasmania… we’d love to read it. We’ll all be closely following the progress of the giveaway.
