We went to the visitor centre at the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens in search of souvenirs. Bridestowe Lavender bears, to be specific, for international guests. We couldn’t find what we wanted, so we had afternoon tea at Succulent instead. As you do!
To be frank, we probably would’ve gone to Succulent even if we HAD found our purple Bobbie the Bears. The affogato and the Devonshire tea were both very much to our liking. The restaurant was extremely busy on the long weekend of our visit, yet the staff still had smiles and the service was really quick. The view from the deck was just lovely and we wouldn’t mind returning again for a more substantial feed. What do you think… been there?
